2nd martyrdom anniversary: Activists remember slain comrades

Sann / Badani:  Activists of JSMM gathered at Badani town of Kashmore and Sann city and lay floral wreaths at the grave of their colleagues Afzal Panhwar, Zaman Shah, Sobhal Dahar and Yameen Chachar who were shot dead in Madhu village Karachi and Kotri during fake encounter of police and rangers day after Pakistan’s independent day 2013.

The activists of JSMM also hoisted a flag of Sindhudesh.

Hafeez Sindhi, the central member of JSMM’s coordination committee read out a message of the party chairman Shafi Muhammad Burfat in which he appealed to the United Nations to play a role in stopping the bloodshed of JSMM activists and ensure safe recovery of missing activists.

JSMM leader Shabir Mallah while speaking on the occasion, said, writers and intellectuals of Sindh must raise their voice against ongoing state operation. He said, on the one hand, many JSMM leaders were languishing in jail without trial and on other dozens of party workers had been abducted by agencies. International community takes urgent notices over the genocide of secular Sindhi nation.
