JSMM denies state allegations of links with TTP

Frankfurt, Germany: JSMM has denied the allegations of its links with TTP and called it a conspiracy of state to veil its atrocities against secular Sindhi people.

The denial has come right after the recent press briefing of DIG Police Larkana in which he alleged JSMM and BRA of maintaining links with Islamist terrorist organization TTP and planning to sabotage the work on CPEC project in Sindh and Balochistan.

In a statement issued on Friday, the JSMM Chairman Shafi Burfat condemned the allegations as “a statecraft to persecute secular Sindhi political activists with international impunity.”

“Pakistan Military Establishment has foolishly attempted to portray JSMM as a terrorist organization conspiring with Islamic terrorist TTP to sabotage CPEC and carry out terrorist activities in Sindh, which is not only condemnable but a shameful act of the state,” he said.

“The people of Sindh know it well that Sindhi nationalist movement, the ideology of GM Sayed and JSMM are synonyms to the secularist politics of Sindh’s national emancipation strongly opposing the theocratic existence of Pakistan, but not the religious terrorists as alleged by the stooges of the state. Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz has always been protesting and condemning the religious extremism and terrorism on the regional as well as international forums through its actions and speech”, he added.

He alleged Pakistan’s military establishment to veil its atrocities against secular Sindhi political activists to escape international outrage against its violations of human rights and international laws in Sindh and Balochistan by forging such fake stories. “Pakistan’s military establishment is violating international laws and fundamental human rights by abducting, enforcedly disappearing and extra-judicially killing secular Sindhi political activists presently and wants to avoid international outrage by veiling it as an act of war on Islamic terrorism,” he said.

He appealed international community to take a serious notice of such propaganda maneuvers, ongoing military operations and state atrocities against secular Sindhi and Baloch people.
