On the call of Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz, protest demos were held in almost every city and major town of Sindh against the firing of forces on the Sit-in of JSMM.
These cities and towns mainly included Karachi, Jamshoro, Sakrand, Digri, Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, Nawabshah, Daulatpur, Johi, Mehar, Gudu, Khairpur, Larkana, Naseerabad, Tandojam, Nosharo Feroz, Ghotki, Thari Mir Wah, Nawab Wali Muhammad Mirpurkhas, Badin and a large number of others.
Activists of the Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM) and family members of abducted Sindhi missing youth held a demonstration outside the press club of Hyderabad. The activists demanded the immediate release of the missing persons including Muhammad Ali Noonari and Zafar Noonari.
The protesters also blocked Indus and National Highways at various spots which connect Sindh with the rest of the countries.
Activist raised slogans against state agencies and accused them of torturing JSMM’s peaceful protestors leaving many activists injured and arrested.
JSMM leaders have shown concerns about the lives of the missing JSMM activists, fearing that they might be murdered in the torture cells of the military. They appealed International community and Human Rights organizations to take notice of the state-terrorism against JSMM activists.
